‘Playground Resistance’ concerns a glass showcase that can be seen as a curious remnant of scientific research into force, movement and perception of movement. Active and dynamic movement is neutralized through the use of a ‘tracking’ technique that evokes an opposite sense of limitation and stasis. The forces exerted by a person on a spring-loaded children's device are diverted to another dimension. |
