‘Ritual 2’ Shown at the solo-exhibition: "Only
Human” in country-house
‘Oud-Amelisweerd’, (dependance of the Centraal Museum Utrecht) 2002. A monitor with the images of ‘Ritual 2’ is
placed on the floor in one of the rooms of the historical country house. In
the same room a small black & white camera is pointed at a small part of
the hand painted 18th century Chinese wallpaper. The camera makes small
movements on the rhythm of the images on the monitor (a small wire pulls it).
The vibrating image, recorded by this camera, is projected in another part of
the room. |
